The percentage varies with the different variants.
lower variants or the base models are usually the ones that are heavily used for buisness as its primary purpose and secondary lang yung lifestyle. while the TOTL and mid to high variants are used as a lifestyle/people carrier as its primary role.

To hasten the impact to the car industry, the gov't should retain the no excise tax for only the base model while other higher models should get their excise tax. or car manufacturers should introduce a single cab pick up model which the gov't should not impose an excise tax to.

    Pang business yan.
I park yan sa mga jollibee, mcdo, tapos magrerecruit ng members.
On the next day, iba na naman ang driver, park at another jollibee or mcdo, then demonstrate the fruits of their labor sa business sa nirerecruit nila.

Well, it appears this will soon be more than just a proposal. The House committee on ways and means has approved the proposed removal of the excise tax exemption for pickups following a hearing held earlier today.

With tax exemption tumaas din yun prices ng mga pickup.

maybe you can check the prices of hilux and fortuner pre-excise tax

compare the % increase after excise tax

malaki dapat ang % increase ng fortuner compared to hilux
