Grey corduroy seatcovers for me... i just vacuum it around once every two weeks and wash around twice or thrice a year.
Leather isnt that practical in our weather, especially if you have a family driver who stays in the car while it's parked (i.e. waiting for the kids at the school).

[QUOTE=mambo;758805]I didn't realize there was a difference on how hot a leather seat got between the US and the Philippines.
I always thought a burning hot leather seat was the same regardless of location. It all felt the same to me when my butt got burned here and in the Philippines.

i'd suggest leatherette.
with kids - you got the mud, spilled drinks, or a pet. Leatherettes are easier to maintain.
Won't crack easily just dont buy the cheapo one's.
Boy Chingcuanco has good quality.

the genuine leather seats are not as hot as the synthetic leather. but i suppose for your kids sake, take the cloth seatcovers na lang.

February 22nd, 2007 04:55 PM #19Hi guys! Salamat sobra sa suggestions! Btw, thanks for mentioning 3M Scotchgard cuz I almost totally forgot about it. Usually, do you spray it on the seat covers or the seat itself? Do you also apply this sa leather seats?
If say, fabric yung w/o seat cover and I spray it with Scotchgard, will it prevent liquids from seeping through (like spilled milk or candy stains)? Or better I put cloth seat covers then spray it with Scotchgard?
So for fabric seats, definitely kailangan ko ng seat covers if kids sasakay right? Or pwede na w/o seat cover then apply Scotchgard on it? I guess I can have the car vacuumed often para di maalikabok masyado.
Sorry once more and I know medyo mababaw questions ko cuz nalilito lang talga ako hehehe!!!

pag fabric choose a color na medyo neutral at di dumihin, kung white kotse mo ok na gray para di din gaano halata kung nabuhusan ng pagkain o ng gatas=)
I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
