PICTURE:
The thing is, won't it still be too expensive to be a serious replacement to the jeepney with a price tag of P1.2M?
For other purposes like people mover or small tourist bus or even ambulance, I just wonder if the adjustments to the truck suspension is really enough to make it more comfortable?
But this is a nice alternative to the overpriced TOYOTA HIACE GRANDIA which sells for between P1.4M to P1.7M and seats 11 people.Last edited by ghosthunter; August 6th, 2011 at 01:04 AM.

the jeepneys are going to be hard to replace. but to reduce bottlenecks at intersections they use as terminals, the size and capacity of the jeepney has to be brought back to the original size standardized by francisco and sarao motors. eight to each bench seat. this way, they don't have to wait long hanggang mapuno and that reduced size lessens the space they occupy on the road. the reduction in size also requires a smaller engine and lower carbon dioxide footprint. reduce the weight by using composite materials but not compromise safety. the jeepney is not the problem but the drivers are as mentioned in earlier posts. enforce the no stopping other than loading and unloading of passengers and require the operators to have parking space (not to park on the sidewalks). no parking space, no jeepney operator license

Well anyway I have to say is that the PHILIPPINE JEEPNEY is the most matagtag vehicle I have ever ridden. Lalo na if you seat around the area where the rear wheels are hehehe

unlike yan, 100% bago lahat.
minsan kasi walang kapalit ang peace of mind.....ayaw natin ng sakit ng ulo.
I feel the same way. Not a fan.
