Para san ba 'to? Yun iba pinapatay yun naka rekta sa intake instead sarado, left opened, or may filter. Anu ba effect neto?

That's where the blowby gasses from the engine are expelled. Huwag mong isasara at maghahanap ng ibang lalabasan yung blowby gas. Baka sa valve cover gasket lumabas. Since may kasamang traces ng oil that dirty up the intake manifold, some people just disconnect the hose and install a breather filter pero pag na saturate na yung filter at hindi mo nilinisan yung engine bay naman ang dudumi. Some install an oil catch can along the breather hose to separate the oil from the gas para malinis na air pa rin ang napupunta sa intake.

Ah ok. Sabi kasi sakin, its unburned gasses w/c should go back to combustion process or else its already a pollutant. True?
Bakit yun iba pinapatay? Anu meron dun?

December 26th, 2005 10:40 AM #6in stock form, the engine routes the blowby gas/oil back to the intake. kinda dirty imo. i like to just stick a hose and vent everything to open air.

January 2nd, 2006 12:35 PM #10vent it means just put a hose and route it to the atmosphere.
no real benefit to putting the breather. some say that minsan may suction paloob but that is negligible and wouldn't warrant putting the filter.
Must be a bliss to drive around Metro Manila now
