I've got a very slow leak caused by a tiny shoe tack. Which is advisable to do i this case ? The "tusok" method or the cold patch method (requires dismounting the tire from the wheel) ?
Wouldn't the "tusok" method make the hole larger? The hole is almost like just a pin prick .

may malalagot na steel thread inside your rubber tire kapag "tusok" method which will cause "bukol" naman.

Always use the cold patch method. Pag di pwede cold patch, time to get new tires. Don't ever use the "tusok" or "vulcanize (heated)" method. It will only ruin your tires.

based on experience, better ang cold patch. yung tusok, minsan di perfect yung seal, at pag napudpod na ulit yung gulong, lumalabas yung tinusok nilang parang thread material na may adhesive. cold patch nasa loob lang at di na-e-expose sa labas. the internal pressure of the tire also helps in ensuring proper seal. hth ;)

tusok - seal to prevent corrosion on steel belts then
patch - to prevent air leaking between layers.
