mga sir, im planning to change my tires this weekend, and gusto ko lang kumingi ng opinion, sino ba mas ok goodyear or yokohama? performance, quality, etc.... and i asked the supplier na local lang pala sila pareho. ano po advice nyo? thanks

kahit alin bro basta properly aligned ang camber mo at balanced ang tires. try mo rin falken kasi from my experience ganda ng performance at kahit di ko napa-align yung sasakyan ko, even ang thread wear ;)

Depende sa model ng tire. Parehong brand ay may mga high-end at low-end na models. Sa mga nabasa ko, mas ok ang Yoko kung local vs local na budget tire (e.g. S306 vs NCT's).
Pero ako, mas tiwala ako sa Japan-made na Yokohama. May ibang shops hindi nagbebenta ng Japan-made puro local lang. Oks ang experience ko sa Japan-made Yokos sa Corona (A539 dati, C.drive ngayon).
Natry ko din local Yokohama S306 (RP-made) sa Lite Ace, naflat na once (pako), pero otherwise ok.

ayaw mo bridgestone? tingin ko mas sturdier sya.
pero i'm using yokos now.

kung Goodyear balak mo, the Ducaro tires are excellent, quiet and cheap. nakarami na kme nyan sa revo namin, sulit masyado tibay pa.

curious lang...wala bang kumho tires dyan? one of the better values sa tires dito.

if you are choosing goodyear, avoid buying the NCT3 model tires. Although they are cheap, they loose their grip easily in the rain. NCT3 tires also do not gradually loose grip, they grip now and do not have grip in the next second.
