if the typo is reasonable naman, they can make it happen.
these errors happen more often than we think.
the act of inspecting the serial numbers is usually a difficult body position... errors are likely to happen... ... exchanging similar-looking characters... miss stenciling the first character or the last character... even wrong typing sa makinilya!

1. if you develop cold feet because of the potential problem, and there is really no compelling reason for you to like that car, then back away, sir.
2. you might also ask the seller, who i assume is the name on the CR, to have lto correct it.
3. but if the error is reasonable naman, you can probably effect the correction when transfering ownership to you. ask lto if they can do it, po. show them the discrepancy, and inquire if they will correct the error.
Kung brand new, depende na yan sa personal preference mo. Kung ako, bias ako sa A/T. Kung...
