Kung may volt ohm meter ka, sometimes called tester, you can do the following to toubleshoot your car.

1. put tester to 50 volt dc. connect probes to + and - of battery. You will be able to read how much voltage your battery has. If it is below 11 volts mahirapan ka mag start. Ideally should be 12 volts.
2. Use probes to test battery terminal, you should get the same voltage with the battery pole. If lower or no reading, try cleaning or tighten the terminals. Baka maluwag o madumi.
3. If battery is weak, jump start or push start the car and run for around 30 mins. This should charge your battery.
4. If battery is ok, move on to ingnition coil. http://www.international-auto.com/in...m?fa=ad&aid=21
5. If ignition coil is ok, test high tension wires. you can do the previous post. Or if you are afraid of getting electrecuted. Konti lang naman . Remove high tension wire and test resistance. One probe at one end the other probe to the other end. Should be below 20,000 ohms. Do this one at a time as not to forget where the wire goes. If you mix up the wires you will mess up your timing.

Haba na!
