^we have an 05 xtrail with 71k mileage. so far AC is ok. do you clean the cabin filter? its gets dirty easily. though im not sure if there's a connection with it but that's the simplest preventive maintenance for the AC i know of. BTW, the nissan casa didn't even bother to clean it as part of their PMS.

you can locate it in the glove compartment. just slide out the clips and you can access the cabin filter. its washable for a certain period. just use a mild soap.

January 7th, 2009 12:35 AM #3768The ticking sound may be caused by the catalytic converter that is cooling down.
Please clarify what you mean by by "tope" or "tsope" sound when you step on the accelerator? Does this sound exist only when you lightly press or step on the accelerator but disappears when you presee or step on the accelerator harder? TIA.

[quote=vinj;184464]Take also into consideration where you drive the car and your driving habits (traffic, heavy foot, etc...) Check also with the owners manual on what the minimum octane requirements of the Xtrail are.

ano yan ct driving or long distance.kung ct driving pwede yan ma consider, dahil naka satandby ka sa heavy traffic. but if you are travelling long distance, then you are driving more than 100km/hr..so malakas ang gas mo dyan..
I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
