March 5th, 2007 11:47 AM #3723We have a nissan x-trail 250x, 3 times na siyang pinalitan ng battery, parang every 4 months from the time we bought it..... Are there other users who have experienced this from an x-trail... do you think its a factory defect... right now we are trying to have it checked by nissan quezon Ave.

Base on my experience with our Nissan X-Trail 200 OEM battery (Outlast brand 1SN), less than a year lang life nya. I was informed na malakas daw ang consumption kaya mabilis ang buhay ng battery. So I change to a bigger specs battery na 2SMF, more than 1 year ko ng ginagamit and no sign of problem. HTH

June 5th, 2007 10:26 AM #3729yung first battery ko only lasted 1 year. I was surprised that after the casa check up..in 2 days dead yung battery and suspected na pinalitan sa loob.
What i did was replaced it with a not so ordinary battery na hindi yung stock battery that came from casa para hindi mapalitan. 2 years and still worry free.

Hi. I just bought an Xtrail 250x Tokyo Ed last week. So far I dont have any issues except for a minor imperfection on the window tint on the front passenger side. I didn't like the 2-DIN JVC radio even if it is MP3 capable (too old looking) so I just replaced that today with a Pioneer radio which greatly improved the sound system.
So far I am trying to maintain a driving speed of 80-90kms until I hit 1,000 kms. I noticed that the fuel meter didnt fall from its full tank level until it hit 70kms. So far I have driven 177 kms and the fuel meter is in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd line (which calculates to about 1/3 of the gad tank). Assuming that is 20liters my mileage currenty is around 8.85kms/li. I havent driven it long distances yet as I cannot really speed right now. I am trying to maintain fuel efficiency at all times as I used to own a Toyota Altis that averages 11-12kms/li. So right now I am not used to the low fuel economy of the Xtrail. Other than that I have no issues with my new car.
It's about 1 cm longer than the 3SM and about 4 cm longer than the DIN74. And it's also in the 10k...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
