i have a brand new Nissan Sentra GX, A/T. Bought from Nissan UN. I have nothing but problems . Parang di brandnew ung binili ko. Main reason why my dad told me to buy a brand new car e para walang sakit sa ulo, pero the unit that I have -- puro nalang sakit sa ulo. Im not sure kung ganito talaga sa nissan or its just my unit, or rather, ganito sa nissan UN. Gusto na nga i pa trade in na alng ng asawa ko sa ibang unit eh. Can anybody who just purchased nissan car tell me, ganito ba talaga nissan cars? Sakit sa ulo?

What are the problems being encountered and how old is your unit?

sorry about your experience, but we need details. is it the problem, or the actual service from your dealer? hopefully minor problems, since you can probably go to another dealer.

my 03 was the first year model and had a number of problems and recalls. however, the dealership made it up by providing hassle-free warranty services.

As with what the others mentioned, what problems are you refering to? It would help to be specific.

A few years back my dad bought a Vios for my mom. When we got the car, the steering veered to the side. The steering wheel was not straight either. The dealer was not able to fix it despite our request during the first two PMS. Had Servitek do it instead.

When we bought a new 323 we found out that the tail light had a crack. Water would fill it up when it rains. Steering also veered to the side.

I guess, not all cars are perfect even when we get them straight from the dealer. They'd usually have little annoyances that escape quality control.

I'm beginning to think that all car manufacturers have a certain ratio of churning out 'lemon' cars off their production line - say 1 out of every 1,000 units.

It is possible especially for mass production types right?

I feel sorry for you sir that yours had to be part of that statistic

what seems to be the problem of your car ba? i have encountered a problem too, but the dealer replaced the parts(shock absorber) because my car still cover the warranty. 3 year warranty, they said. The main problem that i still encounter is that the under chasis. parang may kumakalog kalog sa ilalim pag naka apak sa rough road. But infairness malakas talaga yung aircon and the engine is very reliable talaga.

I bought my 1996 Sentra at Quezon Ave. Had no problem at all, except for the wheel bearing that broke down after a year and covered by warranty until now the wheel bearing works perfectly..

Sure, talagang PAIN IN THE A*S yan and I think I know the problem. Since you never mention about mechanical problem there are two possible problem. One is the monthly payment or may karayom sa upoan.

uhhhhh... sir neo can you pls. elaborate. Actually, locally me and my folks had not so nice experience w/ new cars as well like the one w/ the mitsu outlander and our used to be family car honda civic es. And so you ask if your own single experience are experienced by other individual watever it is... the answer is no.

If that would be the case Nissan will not be included in the so called Big 3 Japanese automakers worldwide together w/ Honda and Toyota right? But I can also attest that Big 3 or not, there are cases of isolated problems in a brand new model (just like our es civic). Maybe Sir V6dreamer is right.
