Purge the tank and change the filter. You likely have water contamination in your fuel tank.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

December 7th, 2013 11:56 PM #4Almost all commonrail turbodiesel having loss of power are fuel related.
First of all open the air cleaner box and see for yourself if the air filter is clogged. Turbodiesel runs on hi air demand so what happens when your filter gets clogged, the filmsy air pipe gets deformed and no air could pass therby causing LOP- loss of power. Check also your MAF sensor w/c is near the airbox for dirt that calcified into the senser element.
Second, check the fuel filters. The primary filter is the water separator, although it has a WiF(water in filter) sensor, water could form into a wax that could plug the filter depriving the fuel pump. Secondary filter is where you bleed fuel line from air- another potential source of LOP.
If you have a chip, the overpressure switch of the fuel rail could be detecting an overpressure condition forcing the fuel pump solenoid to cut fuel. Suction control valve is another culprit but this seldom fails with the YD engine.
YD engine does not have inline electric fuel pump like most gaso engine do and most turbodiesel having 5L and up displacement. The fuel pump is driven by the crank.

December 28th, 2013 12:24 AM #7Ask casa for a Consult2 reading receipt, they usually print it in thermal paper. If you can source an OBD2 reader, plug it in and check for yourself if you can pull out codes.
Kung binobomba ang primer bulb ng filter, it sounds more like an air in the fuel line, you may try replacing the fuel hose with clear chemical hose to see for air-in-fuel. Kung fuel pump ang tinuturo ng casa, pa second opinion ka sa central diesel or Denso shop to see if the pump really has problems(pump is Denso HP3 same with D4D and 4d56 CRD), baka may re-conditioned pumps din sila mas makakamura. Pwedeng ring SCV ang problem. Check mo na rin EGR valve. BTW walang spark plug, oil burner compression ignition engine ang YD25. Try Nisparts and Youngbros Banawe.

replacing fuel pump should be the last resort, with the outrageous price for it unless under warranty ka pa, had mine replaced clocking only 10k on the ODO, no significant power loss but the Battery indicator lit up, pina check ko Alternator and a new battery was installed, charging is good 3 times ko pina check, CASA adviced that fuel pump is the culprit :D and the replaced it, i did not understand why the Battery indicator is the one lighting up .
doc is right, check first the AIR CLEANER, MAF SENSOR resetting the ECU also helps do this manually, check the rubber intake hose going to the turbo for marks of deformations baka napipi na
most of the guys having these problems are having clogged air cleaner and deformed intake hose as the culprit

January 10th, 2014 02:50 PM #9Grabe naman kumubra yang casa mo! Nagpalit na ako ng fuel pump sa Ford Explorer. 50k casa price. 25k sourced outside but same original oem pump. Akala ko mahal na ang 50k since I classify the explorer as a luxury suv at ford pa tapos 120k hinihingi sayo ng casa? Wtf!

January 10th, 2014 02:52 PM #10Oh btw, since yung navara mo ay 2011 model, di ba under warranty pa yan? 100,000km or 3 years whichever comes first usually and standard scope ng vehicle warranty these days di ba?

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
