April 20th, 2008 09:28 AM #35I own a Nissan Sentra Series 3 1.6 li Automatic, was planning to sell it but changed my mind. Why? It was stalling. However, my Petron mechanic suggested something so simple that the Nissan Casa in Commonwealth (now closed) failed to solve repeatedly. He said, bring me a full can of WD40 lubricant and we'll clean out your throttle valve assembly. He took it out and cleaned the part and out came all the accumulated carbon and soot and dirt which was choking my engine and stalling it. When put back, revs went to as high as 1500 rpm, up from the usual 800-900 rpm. He had it adjusted to the lowest rpm which is now at 900-1000. Felt like the car had its stuck up "phlegm" removed. Now it runs better and more efficiently. Previously it was running at 6-9 km/li of gas for city driving but had recorded it to go as high as 18km/li when I used the NLEX to tarlac. I think I'll have this repainted (hilamos) and detailed instead of getting a new car
. Hope this helps
PS. Any shop folks can recommend for good and value for price car painting? Mine's emerald green, but thinking of getting another color.

Don't think about other brands anymore, just go with Amaron. It lasts minimum 5 yrs+ parati, I just...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
