Shift action is a bit rubbery. Power is nothing to write home about (performance feels just a bit sprightlier than my old 1.3 Lynx, but the car feels heavier than the Rio 1.2 or G4. Still a big car inside. Still comfy.

I think it'd make a good Uber. Not sure about the economy, didn't drive it that far.
    thank you, po.
    i drive like a grandpa, so i think i won't be dis-appointed.
but i do wish it would be a fuel miser.

Finally drove the 1.5 with 4AT

    3rd gear 100kph around 4000rpm uphill

I dont think it has vvti. Im not sure. It doesn't have the torque surge.

    suspension is very floaty

Apologies, but what do you specifically mean by suspension is floaty? I am eyeing this as my daily ride with 2 teenagers on board. Tia

Sir, mabibili ba yung Nismo bodykit para sa Almera? If so, magkano rin po?

The suspension being floaty means its soft for my specific roads. My average is speed is around 100kph thru open roads and curves.

The Almera suspension I think fits the roads of Manila. It will soak in all the road imperfection like the once where trucks fly thru.

a/c is hella strong for its segment.

Now I'm a bit lost. I was really opting for the Almera 1.5 E AT priced at P762k (P702k if cash?). But when I told my friend and asked about his opinion, he said the car is okay, but he warned me that I might have problems with the spare parts in the future. I told him that the Almera is made here, but he still insisted.

Before, I was also opting for Mirage G4 GLX CVT priced at P685K. But, I'm a bit concerned about the 1.2L 3-cyl engine & CVT tranny because we usually go to airport with 3 adults + driver + 3 toddlers. My brother's Honda City could easily handle that load, but with the G4, I'm a bit worried.

I may just go with Vios in the end.

kyb ph has a spring for the g4 that will help avoid bottoming out.

the 1.2 is not strong but combined with a cvt, it is enough for everday use. not too many complaints in the fb groups. highly praised for its excellent fc.

Thank you for this input. The thing is, I'm planning to keep this car as long as possible. God willing, maybe 10 to 15 years. So, I really have to get the unit with a good staying power without breaking too much on my wallet.

So, baka G4 na rin talaga kunin ko para makatipid. At P685k, G4 GLX CVT is good enough for me na and also, it took me quite a while to convince my wife for us to have the G4 kasi first choice talaga niya eh Vios. Thank you.
