Never mind the resale value. Explorer drives decent for its size, this one drives like a yacht. Mazda CX9 is the winner in drivability for larger SUVs.

Size wise this is even bigger than the LC200 if i recall but only just. But I'll still go for the LC200, if I can splurge close to 4M for an SUV, what's another 1M right?

This article about 3 years ago seems interesting.

Cummins pursuing diesel power for Nissan Patrol

CEO Carlos Ghosn said it might be possible since the Cummins project for the new Titan went very well. Plus the fact that the current platform of the Patrol is now also being used for the new Armada since 2017. Seems that this will be a possibility for the years to come. If so, the LC200 will have a similar rival having a TDV8 engine.

And this titan is probably more favorable for people who do a lot of towing, which may not be the case when fitted to a patrol but nevertheless, it will be good to see if they can offer it for their suv so that the lc200 will have competition in the large diesel suv market.
Thought I'd reply here para di na OT hehe. So the diesel is a heavy duty version pala. Still if they push through with the diesel I wonder how much more it will weigh and cost vs the gas version. If ever mukhang mapapalitan yung pangarap kong X3 ng Patrol.

They should really try the diesel. In reviews the Y62 beats the LC200 in almost all things except fuel consumption.

Yes, hopefully with the Titan having it since 2016 and the Armada having the same platform of the current patrol since last year, it might not be far from possibility. Meanwhile, there is another article about 4 years ago saying that there aren't markets for the RHD version of the SUV plus the diesel engine.

Btw, the Y62 platform will be a decade old in 2020 and until now, there hasn't been a turbodiesel V8 for it yet.

is this true, P3.75M? comparing it to the 2018 toyota lc200 di ba mas bang for the buck ito? the lc2000 at 5M may be a diesel but the price difference is 1.25M. so kung average 4k/week ang fuel cost mo may pang gasolina ka pa for 6 years compared to the purchase price of an lc200.

Sir newbie lang po... planning to buy 2nd hand Patrol 2012 palagay nyo po ilang fc nya average city/hiway diesel mix? thanks
