October 20th, 2013 10:20 PM #1Hello po mga bossing,
Hingi lang po ako ng advice regarding sa fuel for my '93 Sentra. Problem starts showing after weeks of putting unleaded gasoline to it. Now the car is stalling. We have check its manual fuel pump, spark plugs and now thinking of over hauling the carburetor. Is it true that unleaded is bad for an old car like mine? I was not thinking it could create a problem after the gas station does not have a premium gasoline in which I always put.
Thanks in advance.

During the time that your car came out, leaded gasoline was already banned in most parts of the world and it should run with unleaded already. True, lead has it's benefits but you can sort out other engine problems that may be causing what you have described.
Maybe the nissanbayan folks can help out?
What engine do you have on your sentra? The 1.4 carb unit?

Did you replace the fuel filter already (use an OEM filter)?
Try first overhauling the carb and cleaning the gas tank along with fuel filter replacement. As for our old 1993 Sentra 1.4, we use Petron XCS usually.
