I remember a thread was started before... pero aircon issues lang nakita ko.

If my memory is right, we have 5 years left before EV/Hybrid tax exemptions are lifted. Hopefully, I can "electrify" all our vehicles by then.

If I recall correctly, Nissan was able to find the root cause of the issue around mid last year. They figured out how to fix existing units in addition to implementing changes at the factory to prevent the issue from ever happening.

It seems to have worked since talk about it died down.

Sayang lang talaga wala silang nahanap na remedyo para malagyan ng spare tire. Reduced prices are good though. A TRUE hybrid with EV-like torque at those prices is going to be hard to resist for potential new car buyers.

    i feel uncomfortable, driving a spare-less vehicle.
if i do get the e-power,
i'd probably buy a donut spare tyre, then contract a carpenter to make a wooden something over it.

If gamitin for long drive, must talaga yung spare tire.
But if city driving lang for coding purpose, I think madali lang naman makapunta sa suking gasoline station to have the punctured tire fixed.
The included air compressor should help.

Yun nga lang, use-cases talaga natin sa car ay unpredictable.
Nakakapaghinayang din if di gamitin sa long drive.

Also, it seems Nissan finally give-in sa pressure on lowering the price.
Baka may nakabasa from Nissan dito sa tsikot.

Go to a bullbar fabricator and have them make a tow-hitch style spare-tire carrier.

This is an idea worth exploring. I would recommend HitchPro.

Sa Philippine setting, I will not use an ecar for long drive, purely city driving lang.
Daming "what ifs" sa long drive (>250 km , > 5 hours trip).
