April 6th, 2013 09:45 PM #113Mitsubishi QUEZON AVENUE (DIAMOND MOTORS)- hands down! Home of liar Service Advisors and super Incompetent mechanics
Here is my horror story.
I have a Mitsubishi Strada 2013 model which I bought mid-January this year. The unit was released by Mitsu Rizal. Sometime in February, I brought the unit to Mitsubishi Quezon Ave for warranty service. I asked them to check the following: car pulling to the left, and steering wheel off centered. Service took the whole day and SA assured me everything was fixed. When I was on the road, pulling was fixed but steering wheel was still offcentered and I noticed the steering wheel developed an intermittent whistling noise. I came back at 7am the next day--1st in line -- and told the SA to redo the job on the steering wheel. SA told me to leave the car once again and he'll call me once it was done. The call never came and when I followed up before end of business day, I found out that the SA has gone home and the car will not be released because the car was endorsed to the mechNic late and work has yet to start. Dapat red flag na to sakin to. i came back early the next day just to ensure work will be done but work nver happened. First in, First out daw sila? YEAH RIGHT. The next day I was told work needs to be further extended because they are unable to get the right fix for the offcentered steering wheel. I said 3 days for an offcentered wheel??? WTF. I told them di ba literally tatanggaln nyo lang yang manibela tapos konting adjust tapos sasalpak pabalik. Ginawa na daw nila yon pero si pa rin macenter. Anyways, car was released to me the next day. Wheel was adjusted and greased to address the whistling sound. Here is the catch ...Offcentered wheel was fixed but I found the next day that whistling noise was back or I assume was not addressed and has become louder. Galit na ko non. Inaway ko na SA and told him to fix the whistjng immediatetly. I told him ang dami ko nang undertime at halfday kakabalik balik sa casa. Bakit di nila makuha problema in one click? He said sorry and I was asked to come back the next day. I was never was able to come back for another week due to work deliverables. The week before Holy Week, I came back to the SA to finally get the whistling sound fixed and to address a nagging squeking sound sa ilalim ng cargo bed. My SA once again asked me to leave the pickup for greasing and lubrication of the steering wheel and the underbelly of the cargo bed. Ok sige kako. Nahiya na siguro si mukong sa dami ng palpak nila prior kasi before lunchtime tnawagan na ko at sinabihang papalitan na nila yong steering wheel part kasi di na daw madala yong tunog ng greasing. May part na daw silang available but the car will not be ready until the next day. Eto na. The next day the SA called me yong piyesa daw na meron sila on stock defective din daw kaya binalik na lang nila old piyesa at nagorder na daw sila panibago sa planta. Sabi ko sige wala akong magagawa dyan. Aantayin ko na lang availability and I'll come back as soon as the part is available. For meantime, ready for pickup na daw yong kotse. So I went to the casa at 1:30pm, and I SA released it at around 2:30pm. On my way to our house, biglang tumirik kotse at the middle of Ramon Magsaysay in Manila. It was 3:00 pm. 30 minutes after car was released and a few kilometers away frim the Casa. Rush hour na. Buti na lang pedicab drivers helped me push the car out to the side of the road and I immediately called my SA to have the car towed back to their casa. My first question was... what did you do with my car? I sent it yo you working for warranty tapos titirikan na lang ako right after nyo gawin. . The SA said they will immediately send someone to fix it daw. The two mechanics from Mitsu was in the site 30-40minutes after my call. They tried to fix the car pero after 1 hour and 30 minutes na binulatlat yong ilalim ng dashboard at makina. They told me they were clueless on what is wrong. This was after labas na lahat ng wiring sa dashboard and I was really frustrated. Net/net, we waited for the tow truck and voila walang tow truck na sumundo kung hindi delivery van nila na may kadena. It took 5 working days for them just to make a solid assessment on the car's issue. They told me issue was with the wiring and relay and they had to involve Mitsubishi Philippines because they did not know how to proceed with the issue. Once they had the car running, they told me car was ready for pickup with one caveat bring it back to Mitsubishi Rizal -- the dealershil where I got the unit. They can not give any assurance that car will not make tirik because the wiring was not standard "daw". This is where I blew my top. I just had to talk to the service manager and I told him about how inefficient their service has been and that their SA and mechanics are so incompetent. I also had to ask whether they do not have a manual of the Strada unit because someone from this forum informed me that the Casa should be able to disassemble an Mitsu car piece by a piece and bring it back as a whole by just using their manual, otherwise they do not have a business being an accredited service center. The wiring issue should have been diagnosed 2- 3 working days at most. Natameme na lang Service manager nila. I told them since you guys are nincompoops I will be happy to bring the pickup to a more competent service center. I will leave the service center with ZERO confidence on their work and ZERO confidence on their product. The manager said bahala na kayo kung yan ang tingin nyo which made me disgusted even more.
Drove the car for 15 kms to Mitsubishi Rizal na ingat na ingat and the SA there gave me an assurance that they will bring back the car to tip top shape. He will also coordinate daw with Quezon Ave on their exact findings so that they will not need check everything again. He also hinted baka daw nasira ng QA yong wirings while making all those adjustments sa steering wheel tsaka baka daw trainee lang tumira nong trabaho kaya matagal. Umalis ako ng Mitsubishi Rizal with peace of mind.
Basta for me MITSUBISHI QUEZON AVE sucks. Note thst warranty job orders are not even really free. Binabayaran sya ng planta. I am not sure if style ng QA ang siguraduhing double work ang gagawin nila para double billing o ang bobobo lang ng mechanics nila.

April 6th, 2013 10:50 PM #116Yes and I dont mind naming my SA. His name is Jimmy Baslot. Yong manager di ko na nakuha pangalan. Asar na asar na ko nong nakausap ko yon. I didnt even bother shaking hands with the guy.
No, I havent really contemplated of filling a case with MMPC but I just might. Thank you for the suggestion. I am actually thinking of going straight to DTI if the issue will not be fixed by Mitsu Rizal.

April 6th, 2013 11:09 PM #117As of this afternoon, Mitsu Rizal is yet to complete their assessment. They are working hand in hand daw with Winterpine in ensuring the wires and relays and whatever are solid para di na bumalik sira. Yong whistling noise will remain daw kasi wala pang part yong casa nor yong planta.
Mukhang sorry na lang ako wala pa din lemon law sa pinas because as far as I am concerned mukhang swak na swak unit ko sa pagiging lemon and to hink I am stuck with this piece of garbage for the next five years.
Basta this will be my first and last Mitsubishi junk. I learned the hard way.

April 8th, 2013 09:02 AM #118sir.. i feel sorry for your car.. I think I had a previous post here that Diamond Quezon Ave. ay mga kawatan ang mga tao.. mekaniko, SA at pati manager..

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
