That's a good find.

I really like the back of this Montero. The combination of the spoiler and the cladding is really nice.



From the brochure of the Montero Sport accessories I got here, the cladding does seem different. I like the cladding on the picture more though. It "meets" the rear door better than the cladding I see on the brochure which tends to "curve up" a little bit before the flush to the rear door. Not sure how it really looks like though, I'm only observing purely based on the picture and the brochure. Is the cladding on the picture available here?

Yup its different from what MMPC is selling.. I also noticed it when i compared what i had installed at the casa & the pics of montero's in thailand..I was tellin my observation to fellow MSCP members when they were checkin mine during the last EB..I guess MMPC have their own supplier for the cladding.. Maybe the reason why MMPC have a different design is because the of the position of the "GLS SE" emblem.. If we're gonna use the cladding used on thai montero's, the "GLS SE" emblem should be positioned horizontally..The top of the line Montero variant in thailand is the "GT", they dont put an emblem of a certain variant on the right side of the tailgate..

Sir easyman3, good stuff u got... seems ur the only one really equipped. That key with immobilizer is for your Montero? may we know your MS model and when it was acquired? Dealership / SA? Added cost? all in? TIA

sirs in regards with this immobilzer thing just to share what MMPC has with their new 2010 Galant equip with immobilizer,i think this might be what we have on our Monty..

Further adding to the list of high tech features is its keyless entry security system with engine immobilizer. The original set of keys included in the car has a built-in transponder that sends a unique verification code to the ignition switch to protect itself from unauthorized duplicated keys.

sir Toots_S, what accessories are you planning to install in your monty? I am also planning to have a mix of acc in my ride... oem rear spoiler and atoy/ntyce's rear garnish. if you have the same mix, maybe we can go together and try to bargain for a better discount. pls PM NTYcE, he will help us get a good price if he can get 5-6 orders for the rear garnish...

Wag na sir, Toots na lang Sir Niteman! Haha! Anyway as mentioned from my previous posts. I will be getting most of the oem accessories then get atoy's/ntyce's rear spoiler and Ntyce's rear garnish. Sure why not, although no definite plans yet on when ill get it, probably at the end of the year since i have other priorities to attend to. But who knows diba? If we get a good bargain that will be of help and we can get the rear garnish in no time. Good day.

are the front chins sold in the casa only a small pieces of cladding attached to the stock chin? or it is a big set which is connected from one end to the other? i am in bangkok right now and inquired one of the casa about this part. they quoted me 10,400 baht for the whole set including the paint. the part number is M2330294T. they told me that the chin set is one big piece which is connected to each other.

Let us update our listing and post again our Monty variant, color and month / year acquired It’s because the previous original listing / line-up was somewhat buried already hehe.
