my 3-year old 5th gen ipod video finally gave up on me and i'm planning on getting the current ipod classic (120GB). for now i am borrowing wifey's ipod touch (2nd gen) and it seems to have some compatibility issues. it irritatingly pauses for a very brief moment kinda like the song skips then continues playing. it happens every two minutes or so.

anyone using the current ipod models while experiencing this? thanks all!
My sister's 2nd gen ipod touch works fine on the stock JVC head unit connected to the USB port.. My iPhone 3G doesnt play songs when connected to the USB port but it charges my phone.. When i upgraded my iPhone to the latest firmware 3.0, it already can play song, videos & games using the bluetooth function of our HU connected to the iPhone.. playing iPhone games inside the monty is like having a stereo surround home theater system

I guess you might want to upgrade the ipod touch to the latest firmware 3.0 to make it fully compatible with our HU..

hmmmm... theoretically speaking, it might not be possible. The MS's front bumper is has a little more shape and the slope down to the base for the Strada is smooth compared to the MS where the shape from the center vent to the foglamp cluster has been more defined. But you might want to experiment. Just be ready to bore holes on the bumper though... good luck, sir.

*JPG111, i hope my replies to your email are on your expectations. thank u.

Because this nearly caused my own accident!!!!! I met a water collection just before a bridge... Siyempre, the splash when directly to my windshield!!!!! Therefore, I did not see the bridge anymore.... Buti na lang, presence of mind, I hit on the brakes para to give time for my wipers to work and clear the thick splash of water on my windshield....

Guys, if you happen to encounter this, what could be a possible solution...? Is it possible to put something else in the front wheels just to re-direct FORWARD SPLASHES?????

I think, this is a problem for people like me in the province where we have the pleasure of flooring our accelerators......

    Thanks.
Um, that's normal. Same thing happens whether I'm driving a Pajero, a Patrol, or even a Jazz.

Just ease your foot off the throttle in that situation and run the wipers full speed.

The only vehicles not affected by this are forward control vehicle (e.g. L300, Hi Ace) because the front wheels are underneath (not ahead) of the driver.

*lekimluap, i think it is important to have our monty undercoated because at the factory, only the wheel wells and welded joints were coated.

*mikko, thanks for showing me your new hids. It was a pleasure to see your sweet ride up close. *ntyce's version of the tailgate cladding is realy better than the oem version. The lenso rims do look very good. Again, thanks *mikko. :-)

Thanks, OTEP... but, i've been driving a honda civic and a honda crv.... and i never encountered those "SPLASH" problems.... I guess, I have to accept the explanation provided by one of our thread responder that - 'because the wheels are in front of the driver, that's why'....

i guess i'll stop making "patol" to those water collections... hehehehe... sarap kasi sagasaan ang tubig with the montero sport eh.... pero, just to be careful and avoid accidents, perhaps, i need to avoid those....

Just wondering lang if ever there will be a front wheel guard just to direct the splash away???? ang kulit ko.....
