Question, re the behavior of our Monty everytime we switch gears... Like From N to D. Is it really normal that you can feel a slight "pitik" Like you feeling the shifting of the gears ot transmission ??? Also, with regards to idling??? Should it rest on below the 1000 (1) mark? (RPM) Thanks!!!
that's normal sir, i think its for us to know too that the gear is enganged. my observation naman when we shift from D or R to N, the rear half of the car downs a bit haha

idling at 700 rpm is normal too when a/c is off and around 850 rpm naman if the compressor is engaged.

yes sir it is normal that we feel a slight shift shock from N to D... however, there's a way to eliminate (or lessen) that shock. just depress the brake pedal whenever engaging to D. or use the hand brake. hope these help.
