April 12th, 2019 10:17 AM #1Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 review, test drive
| autos | Hindustan Times
Apparently it is a different 2.0 commonrail engine from Rover. This means that Isuzu (or at least Chevrolet) already has the R&D for installing a commonrail engine on the Crosswind. They just don't want to, for some reason.

April 12th, 2019 10:59 AM #2Wouldnt Isuzu have that down techwise though since they have in their line uo the 1.9L blue power diesel? Maybe detune it slightly for use in the crosswind or a newer version of it?
Not sure how Isuzu philippines will manufacture them. What else are they building/assembling here?
With no crosswind and no dmax, are they still assembling any cars in their local plant?

May 18th, 2019 04:18 PM #3Ibalik ang Adventure! Kung plus 100k price difference. Competitive pa din. Hehe.
Unless ayaw nila ma cannibalize sales ng Xpander?

May 18th, 2019 04:28 PM #4Agree. While the Xpander is selling well, it is nowhere near Adventure levels in terms of sales performance and utility. Besides, much of the R&D done on the L300 can easily be applied to the Adventure. Heck, hardly any R&D would probably be needed if they did that to their Fuzion. Without a diesel MPV, Mitsubishi, along with Isuzu, are voluntarily handing Toyota's Innova a market monopoly on a silver platter.

The 12-month warranty on the factory battery ended a few days ago. SOH is still good at over 90%,...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
