That's somewhat true. But I am 6-ft tall and it's really not that bad. You just have to work with the front passengers so that they don't recline their backrest or slide the front seats all the way to the rear stops. :D

Sorry, didn't check the exact model of the Almera (although it was manual)

Back to the Mirage... I'm 5'8 and when driving the car with the "correct driving position." Visor will be useless as it will cover my view! The top part of the steering wheel also covers the turn lights.

Speedo and Odo has this blue hue but at night, it turns to orange!

Shifter also does not light up at night which can be an issue when driving the car for the first time.

    Eto pa.
Looks like all mirage gls (hb and g4, yung may navi at touch screen) HU's are affected by a time bug. Nagrereset yung time.

Confirmed that 2015 gls HU's are not affected. Tested mine and it is all good.

A recall might be in order. Or perhaps a software update.

there is a possibility, that for some reason, electricity going to the HU gets cut off, when starting the engine.
the time and station settings can get erased.
i do not know if the HU has a memory battery or not. if it has, it is probably dying.

For the sake of due diligence, check if you can have the clock sync to the GPS time (if it's a Navi model).

On mine kasi (aftermarket 2DIN), the clock can be set three ways:
    1. Manually
    2. RDS Sync - Some relatively newer FM stations supports RDS to provide station ID and quite possibly other info like artist name, song name, etc. But I have yet to see stations provide time synchronization. But this was years ago.
    3. GPS Sync - As the name implies, it syncs time to the GPS everytime it gets enough satellites. The time can't get any more accurate than this

it does? Mine is 2015 GLS but doesn't seem to have the option to sync with gps. However, when using the navi, the time displayed on the map is from gps.

Mukhang hindi lang maka move on to 2018 ang mga 2014 headunits. [emoji14] I read somewhere that it's the same for the Monteros?

Nasa settings / navi / gps time (sync or ignore)

Pag inignore mo, pwede mo na iset time sa under general settings.
