Mitsubishi Montero Sport A/T requires a special synthetic ATF spec called Mitsubishi SP3. Its not available in any of your suking gas stations. So far only its available at Mitsubishi casas and some automotive stores selling Mitsubishi OEM parts. An alternative I recall is the more expensive Motul synthetic ATF (I forgot the full name...). Using generic Dexron type ATF will result to stiff A/T shifts and may damage the A/T (based from a foreign Mitsubishi forum). For Engine Coolant any generic ethylene glycol coolant would do but I would recommend the long life coolant from Caltex. It offers a minimum of 24-months of service life. For Brake and Power Steerig Fluids any DOT 3 spec would do just follow the recommended fluid change intervals.

Correction. Power steering fluids have different specs compared with brake fluids. The earlier DOT 3 spec I mentioned is for brake fluids. Power steering fluid for Montero requires the Dexron II/III spec.
