Yes, I did pass by the old road going to Bicol. There are certainly some steep segments there but not as lengthy as can be found at Kennon, just before and after the Lion's head. Yun eh kung bukas ang Kennon...

Though I believe the Xpander can handle that just as easily as it did in Quezon, but I need to test downshifting manually to L2 and L1 to see how she goes. After that, I'll have gotten the car through all the paces I need her to excel in.

This is ok. My friend's Rush is a bit past 3,000 RPM at 100KPH. I think the Xpander has better FC when it comes to highway drives.

Kenon is closed to heavy vehicles, only light vehicles are permitted but that is only limited to the residence of the said place. There's a bridge under repair and only alternative bridge to pass thru.few falling rocks on the roads.

What I do is going down from baguio via Kenon, take some pictures sa lion. Then push thru going down till reach the toll station then stop by security and ask you where to go(if you're residence). Try to please the security to allow you to pass and you need to write your name and plate number sa log book. Took me 20min till reach Rosario junction.

Note: please be cautious if you want to take the risk.

i'd remove all the flushes and treatments.
i'd fill my wiper fluid myself, and warn them to "keep off my fluids".
    ...wheel balance...!??

and that heavy check up parts price is highway robbery!

Easiest way is switch off O/D (overdrive).

Crazy prices for a 1.5L gasoline compact MPV. That's diesel suv territory already. How much will it decrease if you remove all the flushing and unnecessary fluids?

true! It's been a habit of mine to ask for the insurance and maintenance cost of any vehicle I'm intereted in buying and always tell the service staff not to put in "upsell items", just whats required. wheel balance everytime they rotate the tires daw po. anyway, after finding out the mitsu rates (and I cant make my wife change her mind about the Xpander being her "mom mobile"), I think i will be doing my own maintenance kung fluids lang din. I just wish there would be a a consumer protection law here like the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act - Wikipedia
