I got my torque filter too just today. I was surprised it did not come with the mounting plate and screws. its just the aluminum frame and of course the filter material in the center. Is this normal?
yan ang draw back ng torque, its not oem specs. you have to improvise how to seal the opening back after cutting it

It's normal. After cutting the sealed flap housing covering of the AC blower duct where the filter should sit in, re-cap the cover then seal it with Aerotape. Aerotapes are readily available in rolls at any Ace Hardware or Electrical and aircon shops. That's what I did on mine. You can never run out of ideas. No problem. Best thing is you have your filter where it suppose to be. Hope this constructive advise helps.

nice idea too zix. but somehow is it sealing enough? unlike the aerotape where all the gaps from the cut are fully covered/sealed. well of course, it's pristine clean and tidy. But for a thing hiding in cave, practically, it doesn't require much of a show.

Who knows, i might do the same after a couple or so of re-cleaning the filter. Will just consume the rest of the aerotape roll to serve it's rightful purpose.
