The EX GTA is still CBU from Japan. The others (EX GLX, GLS, MX) are local assemble.

Ilalabas kaya yung 1.5l variant na Lancer EX dito sa pinas? Sa Singapore meron ganyang variant eh.

Malaki talaga discount ng EX GTA

Two sundays ago may nakita din ako sa union motors Paco, red na GLS inayusan nila ginawa nilang GTA, Price * 1.1M++.

Also may Nakadisplay sila na MX na white, But after seeing a black GT-A sa Diamond Q ave, na in love kagaad ako hehehe. Did some research dito sa Tsikot ( very good, helpful info's and reviews) After three weeks i got her

Was planning to buy a Civic 2.0 a/t sana pero iba talaga dating ng mga EX. Hopefully i made the right choice hehehe.

I doubt it. Given that Mitsubishi kept the older Lancer model as their lower end car.

If Mitsu would expand the Lancer EX line-up, I think it would be better if they offered the hatchback variant instead of a 1.5L version.

Probably because it's not selling well and they still have stocks to move.

GTA is ok but with the new ASX out already, I think it will be even harder for Mitsubishi to push. I think our local market is generally into CUV's for a bit over 1M budget.

It is unfortunate the local Fortis carried the "Lancer" name because it mean it should have had a lower selling price back in 2008 when it was launched if it was to be accepted by the cunsumers. Now with the discounts and the resulting lowered final retail price of the Lancer EX, it is just now getting customer attention and resulting in improving sales.
