May 19th, 2007 05:29 PM #362This review is based on the Gls sports of the 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander. My model is one month old and I already took it on a family road trip from QC to Baguio without a single issue.
The styling and quality of materials is excellent contrary to some opinions on the Internet. I compared this vehicle to the Toyota RAV4 , Honda CRV 07, Toyota Fortuner, Izuzu GV 07 and the Mitsubishi won by a long shot..That is why i purchased this great car, kahit suspect and reliability of mitsu phil.
km / l ratio
Highway : i got a whooping 10 km/ liter
City : 5.5 to 6 / liter
Not Bad for a 3.0l V6 (6 speed )220 horse power speedster !

sir i would like to know how you got this data? did you compute it manually by filling it up, running it and fill it up again? or you got the data from the LCD display of the unit?
if it's 5.5-6 km/liter, i'm getting one. fuel consumption kasi reservation ko sa outlander. baka sobra lakas sa gas. i've tried it sa diamond motors in q av. malakas, very torquey. interior is not bad. i had the tire pressure set to the prescribed pressure before testing it. usually kasi they overinflate the tires sa planta. mejo stiff sya. but overall, nagustuhan ko sya. i'm getting this over the new crv.

Any news when the 7-seater Di-D version of this will arrive? And is there an option for Projector headlights? Is there a VGT version of the Di-D engine?
TIA

May 21st, 2007 11:08 AM #369elo sir, dito po baguio its 4.5 -5 km/l ako... pero thats kinda expected at puro slopes ang baguio... so given the ur in a flat area it would definitely go up to around 5.5-6 km/l. for a V6 3.0 engine its not bad at all!
yung seats lang talaga ayaw ko... sana leather
oh get the GLS sport variant! rockford fosgate rocks!!! plus the added safety feature of the ASC

Could also be due to the high demand that the manufacturer prioritized new car deliveries vs. spare...
