my baha experience, well ang sarap ng mataas na 4x4. i was driving from norht harbor to makati in my suzuki samurai and most areas were already flooded. medyo naka raise yung smmy ko so doon ako dumaan sa mga lugar na hindi dumadaan ang mga kotse. i think i passed through leon guinto then kamagong all the way to kalayaan.
sawap at naka uwi ako, hehehehehe
OT: sometimes, i purposely go out and drive in the floods just to test the height of my ride. so far so good pa naman
:D

ako ayaw ko na maranasan ulit, sa pampanga going to subic. i had to be there kasi kahit bumabagyo, may seminar akong pupuntahan.

Most are with my trusty Feroza. I think the worse I got is headlight level, so that is about bewang level sa tao. What I normally do is hunt for flooded streets because chances are walang traffic. For example I pass by sa may Makati Cinema since baha lagi doon, also sa my Libertad area.
I normally pause before going in, observing people and mostly buses if how deep the roads are. Pati dapat familiar na ako sa road para alam ko kung saan ang potholes and open man holes. If the flood is bumper level, I pass the road at sumasabay ako sa likod ng buses and trucks para sa bow wave nila. First gear, off air con tapos and gas lang to control. After crossing first gear pa rin, step on gas and left foot on brakes. Para matanggal ang water sa brakes.
I think the longest baha experience for me was there was one time in metro manila nag grid lock. Siguro mga 1997 or 1998 iyon, where most people was not able to go home. My Feroza was able to bring home 3 other people to their homes, including one that is sick. Grabe almost 14 hours siya going into side streets taking the flood.
Earliest baha experience for me is a bit sketchy. I think sa may highway kami surrounded by palayan or something, when it started to really rain hard. From what I remember nag flood ang loob ng car where the floor mats can't be seen anymore. Still we are able to go home safe and sound.

labrador, pangasinan junction during the night the domalandan bridge went down. after making a left on the junction, high water na, my lights suddenly flickered and became super dim. i thought it was because my trusty patrol's electricals were going awry. ayun pala, the water reached the headlights na! sobra kaba ko talaga. it was that deep for about 50 meters. after that, about a kilometer of knee-deep to thigh deep water . sobrang memorable talaga.
