    Kung ano ang aircon inverter ng tropa mo, avoid it.

    All electronics needs air cooling. You can't use an electrical tape. Maybe, put a mesh screen over the vents and all possible passage way.

    Even if you do that, they can still get in the aircon blower vents. So, it's futile.

    I'm sure there are better remedies by just searching google. I read eggshells can scare them away.

    in your picture with the dead butiki, you already have a white roof. just drill some holes on them, for cooling. then close the sides using electrical tape.
    if it needs real cooling, it'll have a heat sink.
    don't tape over a heat sink.

    I think electronic designers should come up of a way to protect senstive circuit boards from lizards and insects. Maybe, putting it inside a plastic casing and putting a blower fan over it.

    Speaking of lizards, I found a dead baby iguana under my car. I thought it was a dead mouse. But the tail was unusually long. So, it couldn't be a mouse. Must be someone's pet.

    On another note, my non inverter window ac just conked out last night at almost 4 years old. It's a 0.6hp Carrier (R22), they are now offering the same unit but at a much compact size (R410a). Will it give the same cooling power? I am psyched out by it's size. Or should I buy a 0.75hp R410a uni0t because it is similar in size with my old unit?

    It depends on your room size. Me chart sila dyn when choosing right Hp for your room. Puede din naman higher hp para mabilis lumamig ang room mo.

    i'd get the bigger unit.
    1. less hassle in installation;
    2. faster room cooling. it might even be more economical, as the unit is strained less; and more comfortable.
