tasted other rice sa ilang mga pinagtrabahuan kong lugar. acquired taste siguro pero mas gusto ko pa rin yung mabango, sticky variety ng rice natin. basmati at mga parboiled rice matabang sa akin. vietnam fragrant rice ok kapag bagong luto, jasmine ng thai ok, japon at korean sticky rice ok din for me.

yan pinost ni qwerty na "dalisay rice" eh nakabili ako sa puregold. Pwede na maayos na bigas puting-puti. Hindi ko lang gusto yung packaging kasi hindi na nasasarado ulit.. Jan talaga mahina noypi sa presentation.
Gusto ko lang malaman sino pinakamasarap na basmati. Kaya bilib ako sa indian may yabang pag sa pagkain.

80 petot per kilo[emoji50] anong kaya meron sa bigas na yan, packaging?[emoji848] buti pa yan nakakabenta ng ganyan. eh sa probins nung harvest halos hingiin na nila palay at a lowest 9 petot per kg. no doubt karamihan bibili na lang ng imports na mas hamak na mura.

agree with you. high carb diet ang pinoy, unlimited kanin. saka ko lang naintindihan mga yan ng pinasok ko ang ketogenic diet. i lost a lot of weight just by getting rid of the sugar and my beloved rice.
but rice is life sustaining sa kagaya ko, its a source of income. so tuloy pa rin pag cultivate ng rice. its a staple food, magrebolusyon ang pinoy kapag binawalan mo kumain ng rice.

At our place, we like it fluffy and dry na medyo buhaghag konti, while the older generation in our family prefer it really sticky (more water used in cooking).
Try serving dry and fluffy rice to them and you’ll get scolded: “Ano ba naman kayo magsaing... parang buhangin naman itong kanin… “
