salamat sa suporta sa aming magsasaka doc[emoji106]

tasted other rice sa ilang mga pinagtrabahuan kong lugar. acquired taste siguro pero mas gusto ko pa rin yung mabango, sticky variety ng rice natin. basmati at mga parboiled rice matabang sa akin. vietnam fragrant rice ok kapag bagong luto, jasmine ng thai ok, japon at korean sticky rice ok din for me.

doc, majority ng rice ko from nueva ecija, Long grain ako.

    i have a rice dispenser.
    it works fine for me.

i don't favor reseal-able packaging. i tend to forget, that i had already opened that pack lying beside the ref, two years ago

agree with you. high carb diet ang pinoy, unlimited kanin. saka ko lang naintindihan mga yan ng pinasok ko ang ketogenic diet. i lost a lot of weight just by getting rid of the sugar and my beloved rice.

but rice is life sustaining sa kagaya ko, its a source of income. so tuloy pa rin pag cultivate ng rice. its a staple food, magrebolusyon ang pinoy kapag binawalan mo kumain ng rice.

Another comment is yung preference on how its cooked.

At our place, we like it fluffy and dry na medyo buhaghag konti, while the older generation in our family prefer it really sticky (more water used in cooking).

Try serving dry and fluffy rice to them and you’ll get scolded: “Ano ba naman kayo magsaing... parang buhangin naman itong kanin… “

The Japanese eat as much rice as we do, but they have some of the longest lifespans of people on the planet... and the highest suicide rates din nga lang...
