Why do Hotels have Bibles in their rooms?

It's the Gideons' ministry and calling; to give out free copies of the Holy Bible. To some extent, they also donate copies to hospitals and prison.

what was taught to us (high school) is the Gideons' version is not actually for Roman Catholic. They say there are some "revisions". Im not sure, Im not that expert to tell all...

In some hotels, if you look at the at the bottom of the drawer where the Bible is stored, there is a sticker of an arrow pointing where the Kaaba is.

Quran is for the Qaaba. It is the cubic, stone structure, covered by a black cloth, within the Great Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
