    The Star Destroyer can use its TIE Fighters and Bombers out of range of Enterprise D main weapons. I'm not sure if Enterprise have CIWS that can defeat small multiple targets...

    Wala cloaking device yung Federations. Only Klingons & Romulans have cloaking tech.

    Kung Battlestar Galactica, talo yung Battlestar because they do not have shield technology. Battlestars are a combination heavy battleship with aircraft carrier. They have heavy armor but no shields. So a direct hit on any critical section would disable or destroy it.

    So a Battlestar is no match for either an Imperial Star Destroyer or Federation Galaxy-class starship.

    Tie fighters cannot penetrate the Enterprise's main shields.

    And given tie fighters do not have shields, Enterprise can teleport the tie fighter pilots away from their respective fighters.
