July 20th, 2018 07:59 AM #13We've been using Epson printers, even for tarp, for our business. Easier to maintain, relatively cheaper ink prices.

hmm might look at epson nga instead of canon based on feedback here. so far ok naman sa akin si epson.
i used 2 epson 3 in 1's already. the tx100 i bought around 2006 ata i left in my parents' house for their use. afaik, it still works. i got a tx121 (very similar with tx100, uses same cartridge) i bought before 2012 is still with me but i need to replace it na because it is starting to give out. both are using ciss. di lang ako familiar sa current models.

if hindi madalas gagamitin ang printer or mabababad ng halos 3 weeks, I would not recommend using the models na may tank for individual ink colours.
matutuyo lang ang ink and magbabara

July 20th, 2018 04:58 PM #18Our Epson 110 (1st ever out of the box CISS in the country, IMO) conked out this month after at least 3 years of use.
Kasi kinalas ko printhead at nilinis ko manually hahaha
The good thing is that it so so popular that parts are readily available (parang toyota).
So I bought a new logic board to revive it. If it is success, then we'll have two CISS printers na (L110 and L120).
I hope to install it tonight or tomorrow.

you don't need a ciss printer if not to be used frequently. matutuyuan ka lang ng ink.
if really needed, you could go no wrong with the cheaper canon 237 or 287. our technician recommends to stick to one brand and model para may pagkakahoyan ng parts kung sakaling magloko yung iba.
yung epson 120 at 210 dito sa office are beyond repair na dahil yung isa naputol ang belt at yung isa naman ay yung scanning system nya di na nagana.
most printers if they reached their maximum copies printed, you need to reset them but we usually get the services of our on-call technician.

Using Canon G2000 ... 2 years and still haven't changed the original ink ... Turn it on daily just to heat up the printhead and print/photocopy a page every 2-3 days ... From experience, Canon is more durable than Epson ...
Also don't buy the cheapest model ... Cheapest models usually have expensive ink ...
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
