Curious lang ako kung bakit or paano kayo nag decide na yun ang pangalan na ibibigay nyo sa baby nyo.

Eto naman ang possible names ng future babies ko:

Baby Girl/s:
Teresa = Teresa Magbanua; First Woman Fighter in Panay. Visayan Joan of Arc.
Gabriela = Maria Josefa Gabriela Silang; Continued the Fight After her Husband's Death (Diego Silang; Leader of the Ilocano Revolt)
Marina = Marina Dizon; Daughter of One of the Trece Martirez (13 Martyrs from Cavite)

Baby boy/s:
Emilio = Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo; President of the First Philippine Republic
Diego = Diego Silang; Leader of the Ilocano Revolt
Isabelo = Isabelo delos Reyes; Founder of Philippine Socialism

Gusto ko lang ma-maintain ang pagiging Filipino nila. Also a reminder of who they are and where they come from. Some Filipino that I know of who's living in the US have a baby named or naming their babies that sounds like a celebrity or trying to sound like ebonic. i.e. Jermaine, Devon, Keisha, Tasha, etc. Not that I have something against ebonic names, but IMHO that doesnt suit my future babies....

Taliwas sa inihayag ng ibang tao, marunong pa din akong tumingin sa aking pinanggalingan at alam ko kung cno at saan ako nagsimula...hehe.
