yup, it was mekanda robot during mon same time with the big guns
daimos, mazinger z, grendizer / danguard ace and voltes v. balatack
was during sat. (walang kwenta ito compared sa big guns)

there was also the star ranger with the one female member star 4
with a heart shaped visor sa helmet.

DM transit, though walang a/c pero MAN diesel from Germany ang engine
compared to Hino of Metro Manila Transit.

Apparently, The Gamelons with Leader Desslok were the enemy in Season 1: The quest for Iscandar. Season 2: The Comet Empire showed Desslok still the enemy for most of the season til near the end. Season 3: The Bolar Wars is where Desslok finally showed redemption and made peace with Earth. No wait, that was Season 2. Season 3 is where he came to the rescue of the Star Force.

I want to buy the whole DVD set. But it's a cool $250. My wife freaked out....

I found some images still online. To me it's just as good a saga as Star Wars or Star Trek.

There was also Getta Robot from Channel 13.
Just before Marcos banned those shows, there were also: Jeeg, Striker Four and Gaiking. Nire-record ko pa yon sa BETAMAX... hehehe...
