the sooner you can go to higher gears the better. i read economical speeds may be as low as 60kph to a high of 90 at 5th gear (kung kaya ng engine). tama ba that the average speed of traffic in metro manila is 23-25 kph? sa bangkok daw e 15-18kph?

i also heard na pag yung rpm needle is pointing at 12 o'clock, yan yung optimum level ng engine with most economical consumption.

i always believe na around 2K++ rpm ang pinakamaganda. at 5th gear around 80kph ka naman na nun

November 12th, 2004 10:52 AM #10in one of the latest top gear episodes jeremy clarkson drove an audi over a distance of 800kms (about something like that anyway) on one tank of gas, car was an audi, and he never went over 1200 rpm
and as always from what i know the lower the rpm at the higher gear the better mileage you get
