    The suspect is of Chinese descent Pala. He has a history of mental health problems and has had several run-ins w/ the police.

    Tragic back story for a family that moved from Taiwan...

    Family History
    • In January 2024, Lo’s brother, Alexander Lo, was murdered.
    • Alexander’s body was found in a home near Knight Street and East 33rd Avenue.
    • Dwight William Kematch, 39, was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder.

    • His mother attempted suicide last year but was unsuccessful
