How do you feel right now?

Feeling ko I went back in time. My senior uncles (all in their 80s) are attending my Mom's birthday lunch. My 80+ yr old Uncle asked me for directions e it's been so long since I gave directions and he asked to add landmarks din. It's harder pa kasi dami one way sa Makati. I hope they don't get lost, they are from the province kasi and rarely go to Makati. Dapat nga BGC but I changed the venue kasi lalo kasi mawala sa BGC

when a venue is bgc, i automatically decline driving there.
"either drive me to and from, or i don't go."

This surprised me talaga doc and it was during my Mom's bday last year na 100% confirmed talaga na people don't like driving to BGC kasi most of the guests didn't bring a car at nagpahatid lang or took grab. I thought it was just my non BGC (work or live) friends that disliked going there hahaha. I've been going to the area since the 90s, in fact it's where I honed my driving before going EDSA or SLEX.

What I hate about BGC are the street names. I could never memorize it even if it's patterned after NY, I still find it confusing. Memorize ko lang 32nd and 5th because it was one of the first few bldgs when the fort became BGC, then I work my way from there.

Parking is outrageous at P50 first 3 hrs then P50 succeeding. Worst yung Central square without validation, P100 ata succeeding.

it would have been nice, if they kept streets to a straight lattice pattern. it would have been easier to navigate.

either it was a huge planning blunder, or an ill-thought-out attempt at money-making.
