Lots of stuff happened in the last 10 years. Lots of development not just in the immediate area, but in others.

I think sa gate ng President's Ave iyan. Palaging binabaha iyan since many years ago.

May creek sa area na iyan ng PCJ... Baka may natambakan at umapaw sa lakas ng ulan....

Grabe pala baha sa Parañaque just an hour of intense rain. Kumusta si Egan?

Bro.egan normally passes through the El Grande Gate, near Lopez Vill. May creek din doon pero hindi gaanong mataas ang baha... I believe he lives in the western portion of BF...

When we passed thru Lopez gate around 230pm yesterday, the water on the bridge near the Lopez gate is already half the height of the tires of the ASX. Most vehicles were able to pass thru except for the lowered cars which just stood by at the Petron station.

Sad part were the area within PCJ parish which was filled with rain water and it rose up the windows of small cars. The main gate in Aguirre (Phase 1) also had more water than expected. Within our enclave, there were some portions that the water rose up to the tire level of most cars.

Yung sa Aguirre gate first time ko nakita yan ganyan.

Ako dati nung una ko punta jan to visit a close friend eh sumuko ako. Its a village na may village pa at another village pa. Yan ang village na tinubuan ng village. Tapos ang nainis ako yung commercial area yun nagpapa-gera jan yung pag pasok ng mcdo.

Kung tumagal pa yung ulan saan bagsak ng baha. And is it a provident village in the making?

BF Homes is a very big housing area. It straddles between Parañaque and Las Pinas. It is a group of autonomous enclaves but the whole area has a main association.

The main problem is that the old drainage system may not be able to deal with the massive amount of rainfall in a short period of time. Floodwater will drain eventually in a matter of hours but will not stay stagnant.

Over the past couple of years, there has been a continuous effort to upgrade the drainage system across enclaves. In BF Northwest where I live and so with Parañaque mayor Edwin Olivarez, the drainage was updated early this year and supposed to be finished by June but the ECQ happened thus delaying the project.
