    i wonder,
how much of those "specs" that the users put in, are real,
    and how much are embellishments?

data from online dating apps/sites show:

women date across or above their socio-economic level

men date across or below their socio-economic level

in other words women would date men who are richer / higher social status, or kasing-yaman / same social status

men would date women who are same level or poorer / lower social status

like you'll see male doctors marry female doctors or nurses

but it's rarer for female doctors to marry male nurses

one can put fake specs sa dating profile pero when you meet and go into a relationship how long can you sustain it?

unless one is only looking for hookups and the fake profile is used to bait people

I noticed that the people who just studied in top schools for college are usually yung mga nagyayabang about their school.

i think it's coz people who went to 2nd tier/ 3rd tier elementary / high schools they aspire to go to top universities

    it's aspirational...

they look at top universities as exclusive clubs they dream of getting into... so once nakapasok feel na feel nila... so they brag about it

while those who went to top elementary and high schools no big deal for them coz it's like normal

the reverse has been my experience.
the top school graduates i know, do not go around, bragging about themselves.

    myself,
when asked where i gradweyted from,
i feel a bit un-easy, when i say i am a graduate of (put top school here).

Observation namin it's MOSTLY the top school ONLY for COLLEGE na madalas mayabang about their school like the colleague of my Paulinian friend na college lang nag DLSU pero mayabang at lakas manlait ng ibang schools. Kulang na lang siguro magsuot ng DLSU jacket sa school.

BTW, meron sa office namin na ganyan. Nakasabit lang school jacket sa office chair niya [emoji23] Pero college din lang naman siya at that school.
