May 2nd, 2004 01:45 AM #1My friend owns a 94 Daihatsu Feroza. The problem is that is usually overheats. Especially when in traffic, the temperature goes up but when its running, the temperature normalizes. This always happens during the summer season. But during the rainy seasons, this problem never comes up. Any advice on what to do with the problem?
Also, is there a local forum for daihatsu enthusiast? Parang yung toyota and honda mayron kasi.
Thanks for your help.

May 3rd, 2004 02:16 AM #3it could either be a clogged radiator or a near-replacement na water pump.
a faulty water pump will show leak signs sa water pump (dried watemarks or wet yung water pump).
pag clogged ang radiator not all the water could be "cooled" by the fan when it is in idling kasi blocked na ito. A clean up is in order, he'll probably spend P300-500 for that repair.
Agree with you there. Nicely put.
