    Dati ko pa iniisip ito..
When do you charge your phones?
Dapat ba drained and battery? or charge it whenever you want?
A lot of people always tell me na dapat drained or low batt na para daw hindi agad masira ang battery.

Ako usually pag bago ang phone i follow that rule, pero pag nagtagal tagal na i charge it whenever i want..

May basehan ba na mas maganda mag charge ng battery pag drained talaga? im thinking bakit hindi yun nakalagay sa user/product manual..

    kayo ba?
    inputs?

    Thanks!

    Depends on your battery type.

NiCD battery requires frequent draining to prevent "memory effect"

HiMH batteries do not require frequent draining but it would benefit from occasional draining to regain "lost" capacity (example, every three or six months)

Lithium batteries do not require draining at all. In fact if you drain them, you will shorten it's useful life by damaging/reducing it's total capacity each time it is fully drained. Lithium batteries benefit from more frequent recharging even if the battery is only partially drained.

Whenever I charge my iPhone I usually do it overnight. Makakasama ba yun sa battery? Pansin ko kasi sa iPhone pag overnight syang chinarge mas mahaba battery life nya compared sa 2 or 3 hour charging until full.

Most (if not all) current gadgets use Lithium batteries because they have bigger storage capacity than older NiCD or NiMH batteries.

It shouldn't since most modern Lithium-ions have a built-in circuitry that prevents over-charging, so you can easily leave it charged for a long period (even days). The circuitry prevents charging when a certain voltage is reached, and only allows re-charging when the voltage goes down a certain threshold.

Depends. There are times na kailangan ko i-charge even if the warning hasnt come out yet. Mga 2 bars left, iccharge ko if I'm on for a trip.

Else, I wait for the warning to come out saka ko pa lang iccharge. Sometimes its unavoidable too na mahayaan mo madrain yung phone mo.

I charge it when I notice the indicator is down to 1 or 2 bars. When the low battery alarm goes off when I'm away I use my car charger. Batteries nowadays are much cheaper, no need to worry about shortening their service life prematurely due to overcharging or undercharging. Chances are that the call you're unable to make because you didn't have enough charge is more important than the cost of the battery.
