The Saleen S7 is one heckuva supercar: 500+ horses underd the hood, with 500+ lb/ft. of torque. I think it hits 0-100 kPH in less that 3.8 seconds! It is completelys treet-legal. But Ferrari has a $ 670,000 car: the 2002 Ferrari Enzo. Maserati has more expesive car: the 2004 MC12, which tips the price scale at a hefty $ 770,000! But the most expensive car being sold today I think is the 1930 Bugatti Type 41 Royale Kellner Coach. This is being sold at $ 10,000,000. Only six of these were produced by Butatti. I think the world record for the most expensive car ever sold was for the 1907 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, which sold for $ 40,000,000. If the stats I read are right, it is still running and has not been torndown or rebuilit, the kind associated with most antique and classic show cars.
