Hello.
I had a 1995 C220 before... and it has the same engine as a E220 (M111). Maintenance is reasonable.... like maintaining a Japanese 2.0L. Consumption should be around 7-8 kms/liter average (depending on driving habit, vehicle condition, road condition, etc)
Check the engine harness, body (for rusts), maintenance record/receipts (if available). By again, it's best to bring a trusted mechanic when you check a vehicle you're interested.
Good luck!

the M111 engine in the E220 is a balance between power and fuel consumption. Basic maintenance like Bob mentioned is Jap like and pretty much a DIY thing. Check for smooth idle (quiet and with no vibration, heck its a Merc it shoudn't have one) and dips when turning on the A/C. Parts are abundant, both new, surplus and from club members, mbclub.ph, who sells at a much cheaper price.
It you have more questions kay Benzmiser mo itanung hahahahahahahaha!!! Just kidding.

It's about 1 cm longer than the 3SM and about 4 cm longer than the DIN74. And it's also in the 10k...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
