i've always had a bit of a fascination w/ the old soviet union that's why when i stumbled upon the productions of youtuber "bald and bankrupt", i've been hooked ever since. his visits to the former satellite states under the old ussr is very educational and very insightful. grabe talaga kalaki ng soviet union noong araw.

meron din siyang mga vlogs about other countries pero it's not as compelling to me as his tours in belarus, ukraine, tajikstan, dagistan, etc.

I checked it out and seems interesting. It's exploration and the same time tidbits of history. I have subscribed.

I discovered Bald and Bankrupt through Harald Baldr. I was so amused by them that I googled about them and a thread in reddit discussing how they used to be pick up artists

May vlogger friend din sila na older man that married a very young Filipina (typical s3x tourist) I still watched them pero they both took a long break from vlogging last year. They have been accused of India baiting din, pero I like their India videos hehe

Dumadami na mga lalamove/grab vloggers, I hope they ask permission from their customers because I would not want my face or house plastered all over the internet. Not everyone wants to be on the internet naman

Yung mga shopee nga that ask for photos, I don't agree to it, I just tell them to take a photo of the item in the tray in front of our gate.

Mas gusto ko talaga 90s up until the early 2000s, there's technology (email and digital cams) but it's not intrusive. Nagbago talaga mundo since social media and cheap phones with cameras. Napaka manyak pa when they see pretty women iedit with romantic background music

Ang laki talaga ng pera sa vlogging! I'm watching this lala/angkas vlogger, he only has 30k subs but he said in his vlog, in one year nga he was able to earn more from vlogging than his job working in IT as a corporate slave (verbatim) Now he bought a house! They get paid din kasi for endorsement/sponsorships. So parang he does lala/angkas for content.

Here we go again, masyado mabilis at malaki ang pera sa vlogging, I don't get to watch anyone for one year anymore kasi it looks like in 6 months umaasenso sila, their lifestlye changes and they veer away from the videos that made them popular in the first place, like this lalamove driver that stopped doing lala vlogs at pati yung GF/Asawa niya na everyday niya sinusundo sa office (BPO employee) nag resign na rin. I checked and from the time their views went up, it was just Feb 28, so less than 3 mos! It means the youtube income is higher na that their combined income as Lala driver and BPO employee. This guy just reached 100k subs a few days ago!

Hindi na talaga education ang susi sa pag angat sa buhay, it's social media.
