Britney Spears Song mentions The Philippines!!!

After those discrimination incident from US TV show like The Desperate Housewives and The Jimmy Kimmel show, I am proud to announce that the new hit single of Britney Spears called ‘PIECE OF ME" is about the Philippines.

If you listen to the lyrics, the Philippines were repeatedly mentioned. She said "I rather sneak away to the Philippines". Isn’t that cool!!!!

So all the Pinoys out there, listen to the radio or get her single "Piece of Me" and be proud of ourselves.

im not sure if i will even consider being proud and listen to the song. another potential overreaction?

1. just a mention of the philippines, not even sure if it meant to be not "the scene."
2. the song is about britney.
3. it is britney.

sorry but the song is NOT ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES and medyo OA naman just because it is mentioned.

and reading between the lines, i don't think it's in good context.

these two lines are meant to be opposites. so when you're on the scene, sikat ka. so if you want to be forgotten, go hide somewhere unknown -> sa pinas?
