    Overall design is evolutionary.

I actually prefer the sedan now because it looks more cohesive than the hatch.

Let us hope they bring that 2.5L engine here. Can’t trust that skyactiv X yet, new tech = new problems (usually)
The C pillar looks like it was flattened from the picture. Very thick. I'm already having a hard time with the thick C pillar of the current gen 3 hatch. I can't get a good view of the rear side of the car when backing up.

Tail light design is way better compared to our gen 3's. Front and side of the sedan car are elegant and classy to look at. So far I'm impressed.

The hatchback's rear window looks very small due to those very thick c pillars.

I bet we will only get the decent but not that impressive 2.0L engine and they will overprice the hell out of it. Guessing around 1.3M - 1.5M now.

And they are replacing the independent rear suspension for torsion beam? What the hell are they thinking?

There must be something they're seeing that we're not.
CarThrottle answers why Honda previously opted TORSION BEAM instead of multi-link for the TypeR...before they switched for the current production model:
"At the rear of the Type R you’ll find a torsion beam suspension setup, but don’t panic about it not being fully independent. First off, just look at the RenaultSport Megane: it’s the sharpest-handling car in its class - just pipping the Honda by virtue of better driver feedback.
The H torsion beam member is made from crushed pipes rather than a solid block, improving rear roll rigidity by 177 per cent. Because of this, the designers decided the car didn’t need a rear anti-roll bar, so there isn’t one, which means less weight."
