Mali ang engine oil na nilalagay sa iyo. Dapat A5B5 rating or Ford WSS-913D rated then dapat 5w30 lang.

BT-50’s Wheel Alignment Issue..or so It Seems

Last July 2024, after having the 4th PMS (40K kms) at Mazda Alabang, the Dealership recommended to have the front wheels aligned. The inner treads are worn faster. They rotated the tires. They don’t do wheel alignment so it will be done outside the Dealership at owner’s cost.

In September 21, I went to JIGA Sucat for wheel alignment. They tested the suspension parts (inangat ng kaunti, panaikot ang gulong, at inalog gamit ang isang tubo na parang to simulate road condition while driving [i.e., pothole, hump]). They found out that the lower ball joints are slightly damaged* (may kunting alog). I called my agent in Mazda Alabang. He said to bring in the truck for diagnosis.

    * Kaya pala matalbog/maalog kapag nadaan sa lubak o hump

In September 28, I brought the truck to Mazda Alabang. After their diagnosis, maayos naman daw ang lower ball joints, walang tagas (ano ba yan!). So, I went back to JIGA for the wheel alignment. Same findings. The mechanic (different from the previous week) asked if the lower ball joints were replaced. He even asked for the receipt/invoice relative to the replacement. He said, they cannot (or will not[?]) do the alignment unless the lower ball joints are replaced.

(September 28) So I went back to Mazda Alabang. I told the head technician about the findings of JIGA and I described to him how they tested and found out what suspension part/s is damaged. The head tech said that the Dealership does not take recommendations from outside shops. He told me to go to Minerva Tyre Gallery–Daang Hari.

(September 28) So I went to Minerva. They did wheel/camber alignment. (No test like JIGA did..pero inayos din nila ung manubela kasi may kabig daw). When it’s done, and I was about to drive out, sabi ni mechanic na two weeks ang warranty sa alignment. Sabi ko “two weeks?” at unulit niya na two weeks (kulit ko no hehe). In fairness, the truck drives better now..(pasok pa sa two weeks lol). When I got home, I checked the invoice, and it is written there “warranty – two weeks”. JIGA did wheel alignment of our other car and the warranty was six months. The suspension parts were newly replaced by another shop.

    My takeaways:
    1. The Dealership will do everything to minimize its cost. The wheel alignment issue of the BT-50 happens to most (if not all) 2022 and later models. Other owners complain about the “kabig pakaliwa/pakanan ng manubela”. Yet, the Dealership will not shoulder the cost for wheel alignment, and others that are supposed to be done or at least make sure that units are in good condition before being released to its clients;
    2. Warranty is relative. Two weeks vs six months. Hands down.
Baka affected sa bump steer issue yung unit nyo.
This issue affected all Isuzu units (MU-X, DMAX), including Mazda BT-50 pickup (2021 and up models daw).
May ongoing report sa youtube nito, baka pwd nyo siya i follow.
Ongoing pa pag request niya ng warranty claims due to this issue.

Ganito din behavior, madaling mapudpud inner threads.
Yung ibang user though, hindi daw talaga kaya ma ibalance sa labas kahit anong gawin.
The Isuzu Australia already issued recall to affected owners.
Some users that were affected daw were issued with new tires aside from the fix applied and alignment cost.

Yes, that's what they call it, "bump steer" issue.
Ung iba, as in days pa lang nalabas from Dealership, ramdam na nila.
Iba dito sa Pinas, as long as walang risk of fire or unintended airbag release (or something like that), walang recall lol

Interesting dito is if just in case i honor ng Isuzu yung warranty claim ng user na yan, pwd din ba ma force yung Mazda dealership to ask for the same support and warranty claim?

2025 Mazda BT-50 facelift set to make PH debut in Q2 this year | Autoindustriya

according to a well-placed source, the updated BT-50 is slated to have its big reveal in Q2 2025
the refreshed version will also only be offered with the Isuzu-derived 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX turbo-diesel engine. That's right, the PH-spec BT-50 will unfortunately not get the new 2.2L MaxForce DDi turbo-diesel engine that's shared with the mu-X and D-Max.
