My CX-5 has just suffered from the dreaded 'Battery Management Sytem Failure' warning light syndrome which has now triggered all manner of other dashboard warning lights to come on.
Despite fully recharging the battery several times, now my dashboard warning lights refuse to go off.
I live in Palawan, so it's practically IMPOSSIBLE for me to just take it to a dealer for the lights to be reset. Nor is it possible to get a new battery from the dealer. In fact when i enquired, Mazda Philippines didn't even respond to my message for help!!!!!
So, after spending hours and hours on different websites and forums, I have managed to discover that some Mazda owners with Skyactiv i-Stop engines have successfully used AMARON Pro 90D23L (1SMF) batteries.
Has anyone here also used AMARON batteries? If so.....any feedback??
Thanks in asvance.

November 6th, 2019 05:02 PM #902Battery Management System Failure just means get a new battery. How long have you had the battery? Charging it won't do any good if the cells have deteriorated to a point it can't hold enough juice anymore. Amaron is highly recommended on the club. Just turn off your i-stop when you get a new batt to prolong its life.
I suggest you join the Mazda CX-5 Club Pilipinas on Facebook.

It seems that Facebook is the "answer". I wonder how do you search in Facebook? I mean, I find it impossible to read every post when you just want a particular topic.
Unless Facebook now has a feature where you can index the topics just like in a forum, you have threads to look for any topic and subtopics.

November 6th, 2019 07:07 PM #904It's easier to search within a Facebook group, better go to the group first before conducting your search to narrow down the topics. Save the posts relevant to your interest. It's much easier than searching through an internet forum imo. And topics are much more specific.

Bakit 3k rpm lang? Give it a little more push, to 6k rpm. Hehehe
Sa SCTEX, yung 150kmh halos tahimik pa rin yung cabin ng modern cars. At 200kmh or more, you can definitely hear the wind pelting the exterior of the car and the noise radiates indoors, even more so for crossovers.

Mash the pedal to the floor for more fun sounds. It will downshift two gears and go all the way to 6k rpm. Them Skyactivs love to be revved.
